#Leo Nutter from #Ellen MacArthur Foundation asked me about some of the challenges about feeding the world in the next decades. I had said it will be related on how we use, manage and deploy water resources. Water is the new oil for food systems.Water costs more than milk in several places and will cost more for farming systems to contribute to food security. Climate change is here and can not be negleted #Bonn COP21. Saving and reducing water loss, new genetic materials, managing properly landscapes at watershed level are just a few examples of what needs to be done in the short term. Don’t you agree with me that water is the new “black”?
